Overview
The VIZOBOX EMU-8204 is a modular head-end encoder-streamer that converts HD-SDI inputs into HEVC/H.265 or MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 IP streams (SPTS/MPTS) over Gigabit Ethernet. Each 4-input module delivers up to 4 SPTS and 1 MPTS output via UDP/RTP/RTSP in unicast or multicast, with IPv4 and IPv6 support for both streaming and management. Audio is handled with MPEG-1 Layer 2, LC-AAC, HE-AAC (V2) encoding or AC3 passthrough, complemented by PID filtering and re-mapping, PSI/SI rebuilding, accurate PCR adjustment and null-packet filtering. Configuration and software updates are performed through a modern web-based management interface.
