The VIZOBOX HDM-12220C-T combines encoding, multiplexing and modulation in a single 19-inch unit, turning up to 12 HD-SDI sources and IP streams into a complete DVB-C or DVB-T channel bouquet. One device replaces an entire rack of separate head-end components.

Overview

The HDM-12220C-T is an integrated encoder-modulator that accepts 12 HD-SDI inputs with closed captioning, a DVB-C re-mux tuner and IP inputs over UDP/RTP, encoding video in MPEG-2 or H.264/AVC with CBR/VBR rate control. Its multiplexer offers PID remapping, accurate PCR adjustment and automatic PSI/SI table generation, with simulcrypt CA scrambling on DVB-C. On the output side it delivers up to 16 non-adjacent QAM carriers (DVB-C) or 8 COFDM carriers (DVB-T) across 50–960 MHz, mirrored as MPTS over IP and ASI. Configuration and monitoring are handled through an English-language web interface.
